When he fell, he fell harshly. The phrases of others sadistic comments scattered on upon the ground, while the jokers made whispers in the background. He has been used to the quiet, but silence had never been this loud. It just made him get louder, louder, and louder.
When he arose, he rose gently. Crushing every comment scattered along the ground with his foot. He could spend his life dwelling on them, but eventually, he realized that he was more than them. He realized he was more than people’s fixated lens focused on him struggling to get out words. Quickly he shut the cameras and threw them out the window. He spoke up instead, even if he stumbled, and wasn’t ashamed of his story.
When he felt acceptance from himself, and not just others, is when he felt truly alive. Without your past, you could have never come here.
He now had a resilience that he never had before.
