I provide Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Advocate Services to parents who have children with disabilities. While I do focus on Verbal Apraxia (CAS), I advocate for all children with disabilities. My goal has an IEP Advocate is to put pressure off of the parents, fight for the child, and make sure the IEP is being followed properly. You can email me at fightingformyvoice@gmail.com for prices and services. If I do become your advocate, I do ask you send me all of your child’s records that are relevant to their IEP case.
The services included are:
1.) Obtaining all the child’s evaluations and relevant documents, putting those in a Google Drive for us to have for organizational purposes.
2.) I review all the documents provided, and I summarize them in a Google Document for us to have.
3.) We go over what your child needs out of their IEP and what they are currently getting.
4.) We will go over our IEP goals and discuss what services they need according to research. Each child’s case is unique, so your child may need specific services.
5.) I go over your state laws and school policy for children with disabilities and make sure those needs are getting met; this also helps us get the services your child needs further.
6.) I attend IEP meetings alongside (virtually) and will introduce myself as your advocate and make our case.
7.) I do offer emailing teachers on your behalf as well if there’s something your child needs.
